About this course
This course equips leaders to understand and respond strategically to a fundamentally changed environment for diversity, inclusion, access, belonging, and engagement work. Participants examine the legal, political, cultural, financial, governance, and stakeholder forces reshaping institutional decision-making and learn to distinguish external pressure from the institution’s own strategic direction. Rather than responding reactively, leaders learn to assess risk and opportunity, anchor decisions in mission, values, and strategic priorities, and determine what should be preserved, adapted, repositioned, or redesigned. The course establishes Strategic Responsiveness as a core leadership discipline for navigating uncertainty while maintaining institutional integrity and long-term effectiveness.
